Ballistic Nylon
Ballistic nylon is a thick, tough, synthetic nylon fabric used for a variety of applications. Laboratory tests have been run and the 1050 denier fabric is the strongest and most durable fabric for its denier weight level. As it resists abrasion and tearing, ballistic nylon is typically used for luggage.

Cordura
Cordura® is a high-performance nylon designed to be longlasting and resistant to abrasions, tears and scuffs. Learn more at Invista

Denier
Denier is a unit of weight for measuring the fineness of threads of silk, rayon, nylon etc. Denier refers to the weight, not the strength, of the fabric.

Kevlar
Kevlar® brand fiber is an innovative technology from DuPont that combines high strength with light weight to help dramatically improve the performance of a variety of consumer and industrial products. When Kevlar is spun, the resulting fiber has great tensile strength. Depending on the application, manufacturers can choose the type of Kevlar® that is appropriate for the intended use.

Kydex
Kydex, combines the advantageous properties of both the acrylic and the PVC components. From acrylic, it obtains superior rigidity and formability; from PVC, outstanding toughness, chemical resistance and good interior finish ratings. Parts formed of Kydex will be much more rigid and will deform less when loaded. This is of particular importance in deep formed parts with thin wall sections. Kydex offers rigidity along with a high degree of toughness and resilience.

Multi-position Belt Loop
Multi-position belt loop allows the user to wear the holster high or low on the belt, and to swivel it to the front or back so the holster does not get in the way of a person sitting. It enables the user to position the holster for better comfort on the waist.

Neoprene
Neoprene or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers. It is used in a wide variety of applications, such as in wetsuits, laptop sleeves, orthopedic braces (wrist, knee, etc.), electrical insulation, car fan belts etc.

Neoprene is the trade name used by DuPont. Its chemical inertness makes it well suited for industrial applications such as gaskets, hoses, and corrosion-resistant coatings. It can also be used as padding in external metal cases to protect the contents while allowing a snug fit.

Neoprene is used in some situations where abrasion can be a problem as well. It can be found on a number of products today, including protective covers for items such as cellular telephones. It is also lightweight.

OP Case
OP Case is an acronym for Operating Case. It allows use of unit without removing the unit from it. Most OP Cases have hand straps on back for holding in palm during use. The attachment options include D-rings for shoulder strap or sling; or belt clip or cell clip for waist belt.
